Is there a way to configure which interface the DDNS configuration is assigned to?

Setup: I have an External DHCP interface which provides the Internet connection and I have an Internal DHCP interface which is attached to another VLAN with it's own DHCP server.

Problem: The current DDNS setting is updating DNS based on the Internal DHCP address which is not very helpful.

Workaround: Staticly assign my Internal VLAN address.

Caveat: While the workaround does work for now, I foresee this issue creeping up again when I add another External Internet facing DHCP interface for load balancing.

Hi,

If you are using DynDNS, I suggest you to use it's own DNS Updater application.
You can download it from http://cdn.dyndns.com/windows/DynUpSetup.exe

I thought of doing that too. However, it's not ideal...seems kind of silly installing another product to fix an issue with another product.

Maybe it's not an issue at all, I'm hoping there's a hidden feature in the XML config to address my need.
