Hi All,

I've uploaded Dutch voice prompt set 1.8 into operator, but having difficulty's to understand the voicemail woman who is talking me trough the menus. Sometime she forget words ore stops talking. Then the phone is disconnected. Is Operator working with 1.6 and 1.8 sound files? and how can we fix this?
Thanks, Rob

Best regards,

Hi,

Kerio Operator is currently using Asterisk 1.4.41, and your prompt set needs to be compatible with Asterisk 1.4. You can enable "Asterisk" messages in the debug log. This should help you discover which files are missing. If it's just a few files, maybe you could copy or rename them and thus modify your set for Asterisk 1.4

@ Automation ICT (Rob),

Are you testing Operator?
We are one of the dutch Kerio Operator resellers. Maybe we can assist you!
At this moment we have some dutch voice prompt sets tested and those sets works fine.

Is it possible to upload the numbers and letters as there are in the Asterisk packs? but where do you upload the files for the numbers and letters and other prompts such as x calls on hold for example.

@germanr,

If you want to tweek a set of messages (replace digits, and such like), start with a pack of core sounds, unpack it, replace some of the files, recreate the tar.gz archive or just zip the directory structure (Operator accepts many archive formats). After that, go the Operator's admin GUI to Advanced Options -> General, click on the "Configure" button next to PBX language field and upload your modified sound package. Once you upload the set, you may choose the language set in the PBX language field or you may set it for individual users.

Hi Vladimir,
Is there a way for Kerio to provide us with a full procedure on how to insert and change voice sets for brazilian portuguese?
I tried and no results at all.
We're running Operator version 1.1.1 build 3918.
An example will be very appreciated.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Reinaldo

Hi Reinaldo,

Operator 1.1 has Asterisk 1.4 so it would be ideal to have a language prompt set for that version. You could try with other versions but you might encounter a missing file now and then.

You need to have the set of prompts in an archive (zip, tar.gz) with the right structure inside. Then go to Advanced Options and click "Configure" next to the PBX Language field.

Check one of the "core" "wav" packages in this directory. Your package needs to have the same directories and file names.

All of the sound packs we have found for US English have the Voicemail Options only with 4 options, setting #4 as password change vs. temporary greeting. Does anyone know of a English (US) pack that supports this?
