Dear all,

I try to install Kerio Workspace on my Ubuntu-Server 11.04 Box.

I installed Java JRE:

apt-get update
apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk
ia32-sun-java6-bin

I also installed the 32-Bit Librarys:

apt-get install ia32-libs

Now, I want to install WS with the following command:

dpkg -i --force-architecture kerio-workspace-linux.deb

I get the error, that WS needs sun-java6-jre. But it is installed.

On the Server, I get the following information:

root@server[/email]:~# java -version
java version "1.6.0_26"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.1-b02, mixed mode)

What can I do to get WS up and running on my Server?

Hi hijacker, have you tried the command below after you got the error message? It's stated in Kerio Workspace manual.

sudo apt-get -f install

any ideas?

Hi hijacker,

please follow procedure at http://forums.kerio.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=74124&S =1c32a76ae3ed92333d18c0b0476cbfdd&srch=64-bit#msg_74124

Note that Workspace doesn't support 64-bit Linux officially and we don't test it on 64-bit distros.

Why don't you support 64 Bit Linux with WS and Connect?
Today, as memory is cheap, most people will use more than 4 Gig memory, don't you thing so?
