Hi,

We are using Mac computer in office and Kerio Mail Server 6.x version running on Mac OSX Server, I saw Kerio user manual and it mentions MS Entourage can access Kerio mail server via IMAP, can we enable MS Entourage using POP3 instead of IMAP? If it can use POP3, can we sync the calender, address book other than emails?
Thanks.

Hi,
you didn't described what Entourage version.
Entourage X - only POP3/IMAP account is possible, no calendars, contacts, notes, tasks sync

Entourage 2004/2008 - we suggest WebDAV account, it allows full sync of messages, calendars, contacs. Notes and tasks are not synchronized (limit of WebDAV in Entourage, not Kerio Connect)

POP3 protocol can't sync any data, it downloads INBOX folder only. It cannot upload any data to server or download from other folder than INBOX.

For more about MS Entourage, see User's Guide: http://download.kerio.com/dwn/kerio-connect-userguide-en.pdf
I suggest update to Kerio Connect 7.2 (http://www.kerio.com/node/742#maintenance-why) and use WebDAV account, if your Entourage is v.2004 or 2008.

My boss would like to use offline mode and he wants to sync calendars, emails and contacts, you mentioned MS Entourage with WebDAV can sync above information, can MS Entourage with WebDAV support offline mode?

ps We don't have MS Outlook as we all are using Mac computer in office.

MS Entourage has native offline mode.
BTW for fast and correct configuration of Entourage is best use autoconfiguration tool from Integration page ( http(s)://your_server/integration/ )
