Does anyone have any experience with secure email services when combined with Kerio Connect?

We have a requirement from one of our vendors that we use 'envelope based' secure email such as cisco PXE/ironport

You can't use webmail for this, but of course any given popular mail client that works over imap/smtp (or MS Outlook for Mac and Win) also works with S/MIME mail encryption. This is a good idea in general, as your mail is - well, encryted as opposed to sending plain mails that are the electronic equivalent of a postcard.

S/MIME is easy to set up and you can get free certificates. It also works with iPhones and iPads through free apps (and will be built in to iOS 5, finally).

We use the Zix secure email appliance with Kerio webmail being our only email client and it works great.
