Just want to write down howI did when I installed my Class 2 certificate issued by StartCom Ltd. I wanted to have this information before I did it, and I searched this forum. Smile

The certificate and the private key was imported to Kerio Connect's web interface. But many services still complained about it certificate was issued by unknown. I had to install the CA's certiciate as well.

Kerio has a folder for ca certificates, on a mac its at /usr/local/kerio/mailserver/sslca/
I converted the ca certificate from .pem to .crt with
openssl x509 -outform der -in ca.pem -out startssl.crt

I connected with ssh to the server, made myself to constant root by sudo -i
navigated to this certificate folder and copied it here
exit
Screen sharing, restart kerio in system preferences pane.

This is the information I would like to have an hour ago. =)

hm, i just as bad in searching digital data as I am when I lost something physical at home. Very Happy

anyway, even after I put the certificate there and restarted it still says it can't verify the certificate issuer. Can I somehow doublecheck that it has loaded the certificate I dumped in the folder?

The correct article is http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-connect/server-configurati on/ssl-certificates/configuring-ssl-certificates-in-kerio-co nnect-1132.html
Refer to the section at the bottom regarding intermediate certificates.
