If I understand you correctly you want to send an email from user 1 in domain 1 on server 1 to user 2 in domain 2 on server 2 but domain 2 is also a domain in server 1. I don't think you can do this. Every mail server will check itself first to see if it runs the domain for a recipient. If it does, it won't check dns for external domain resolution. This would be by design.

Maybe this way:

In Kerio Admin -> Configuration -> Domains, select the xyz.de domain -> edit -> Forwarding, select "If recipient was not found in this domain, forward to another host" and configure it to send to the Tobit server

This works great!

Now I've set up the datacenter mailserver as main SMTP Server and the Tobit David server as described above. Normal mail goes out via datacenter and other xyz.de domain mails which are not on the keri go to the David.... nice!
