After upgrading from 7.1.4 to 7.2.2, some users are reporting duplicate events. It appears that if a users makes a change to an event, the old event remains and a new event with the updated information is also created. As a result, there are two events that look the same except for whatever was modified by a user.

It may be related to a delegation issue since users have only reported this on calendars that multiple people are responsible for creating and managing appointments.

Users are mostly running Entourage 2008 with a small number of iCal users running 10.6. The server is running on Mac OS X server 10.4.11.

Is anyone else seeing this kind of behavior after upgrading to 7.2.2?

No, not that I'm aware of unless someone set it up on their home computer themselves.

I am seeing this as well with only Entourage clients. Even without delegation, but with any edited or updated events also.

Are duplicated only recurrent events or all events incl. simple without recurrency?

We're tracking known bug in Kerio Outlook Connector. If it's makes change to recurrent event created in iCal, event seems to be duplicated for iCal. All other clients see it correctly (WebMail, Entourage, Outlooks...).
(There is case-sensitivity problem between recurrent event and exceptions and iCal shows them both.)

Only with recurring events, but there is no Outlook Connector in this environment, just Entourage 2008, 7.2.2 server.

It's enough if some of your users will configure it at home and use it e.g. on some shared calendar where he/she has write rights - all users with iCal see these events duplicated.
If you want know if any user has configured KOFF, go to Active Connections, there should be protocol "HTTP" or "HTTP Secure" and extension "KOC Offline" and enable debug module and log all KOFF requests:
in web admin -> right click to the debug log area -> Messages... -> "KOC Offline requests"

Nope, no KOC connections or iCal, only Entourage 2008, i have checked all if the connections.

We've seen this as well with Entourage users/delegates, and have submitted examples of the offending eml's to Kerio support. It seems to happen with scheduled exceptions to recurring events.

I'll update this thread as I found out more.

Ok, we look forward to it. In the meantime, we will revert the big boss of our company back to MobileMe and will do our best to keep his faith in Kerio.
