Got our first IP phone to test with Operator...

Set Up a DHCP server and added a the option 66 pointing to our Operator server.

Plugged in the IP335 .. It gets the right IP info but no configuration files.

What did I miss?

Hi

first of all, you have to tell your Polycom how to fetch the configuration. This can be configured while the phone is booting. Push the "Setup" button, open section "Server Menu" and set "Server Type" to "Trivial FTP".

If the Phone asks you for a password, the factory default is "456". Please note, that this password is overwritten by the Operator provisioning password. In case you forget it or loose it, there are factory reset procedures which you can find on-line.

Hopefully, this will make your phone working.

Best
Filip

THe only problem is that the phone never get to that point.

The screen is displayed at the moment you power on the phone.

It looks like this (on IP450):
./fa/2295/0/
