We only have a few Blackberry users.

We have downloaded Astrasync and are not thrilled with it. I don't know what the differences are to the user when comparing Astrasync with BES Express.

Any opinions on one solution vs. the other?

Thank you,

Laurie

If you are comfortable with BES and have more than 5 users and have the resources to set up a BES server, go for it, as it's free. If it's only for two users, then use Astrasync or the other Activesync app for BB (forgot the name right now, it's all over the forums here).

We went with NotifySync for our one BB user, and it works well. Only caveat is that your license code is tied to the mail server DNS name, so make sure you have that finalized before purchasing (we purchased during a migration, so had to keep the temp DNS name around).

We initially went with Notifysync for our 7 BB users and this worked well.
We then had a month or two flirtation with BESX (as it is free and Notifysync isn't) and found that it worked really poorly. We were using an early version of KBC though...
We switched back to Notifysync and our 7 users were happy again!

A prime example of "if it aint broke, don't fix it" I guess.
