My customer has a Kerio Connect server configured with 2 domains. The company.domain has a few users that must be internal only. The other.domain has only 1 user but she is in the same offices as all users on company.domain.

The reason I configured 2 domains is because the 1 users sends mail via a different POP mail domain to the rest of the company and in order to send and receive replies without complications I figured it best to be a separate domain.

The domain only users on company.domain could not send to other.domain - I created a user on company.domain that can send external to the domain and they now send to this mailbox which forward to the other.domain.

Problem now is that other.domain cannot deliver to the company.domain internal mail only users - mail is rejected because of the his/her own domain only option.

Is there a workaround for this that still prevents these users from sending Public email?

Is there any future plan to possible have an extra setting that allows users to send across domains on the local server only?

Hi Gary,

Any workaround you found for this situation ? My company also has two different local domains and people should setup as "can send/receive to his own domain only" cannot communicate with users on another local domain. It will be very very helpful if you can tell any update about this.
