Hi all,

We used to use Winroute pro mail server feature to download POP3 remote e-mail at our ISP servers and send SMTP trough the same way. Everything was just passing trough winroute server, then sent or received to/from MS-exchange servers. We had to add a third-party software named popcon to be able to forward mail downloaded to that exchange server. I know it seems a bit complicated, but it went fine. Now we upgraded to KWF 6 and KMS6, I don't really see how to set it up as it was. Seems to me KMS is now a 'real' mail server...

Anyone with the same mail organisation ?

Thanks in advance for any info

that is one of my real bug bears with KMS - POP3 email doesn't follow the same rules as email that comes in through SMTP - no idea why. All the other email server apps we've used treat POP3 and SMTP the same way.

Have resorted to a similar method to you in those cases - clumsy, but it works!

I did email Kerio some months ago, their reply was along the lines of "companies with proper email dont use POP3!".

Fine for leased lines, and reliable ADSL... but if you don't have that... can't use Kerio!
