Hi there,

What is the option in Connect to trace a mail sent to a user from a public domain..?

For instance: A user claims he has not received a mail which was sent to him.

In this case how do we search for a log with specifying the recipient address or subject line or date n time frame..?

i think there should be an option for this, but sorry i searched and couldn't find anything as such.

Thanks and Regards,
Karthik S.

In the mail log look for:

Recipient: <someone<_at_>yourdomain.com>, Result: delivered, Status: 2.0.0

ok.. thanks for your reply.
As we are in evaluation process there is no much mail traffic and logs are clearly viewable, but when 200 users receive mails on a average of 10 mails per day it will be bit huge to trace.
Hope tracing this large logs will not be an issue..?

Thanks and Regards,
Karthik S.

You can set how long between log cycles (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly) or when the log gets a certain size. You can also set how many historical logs to keep.
You can search the logs from the admin page or export it to Excel if you wish.

Or you just login to the server and use whatever tools are available there, which is much more comfortable than using the admin page.

We have setup archiving. Within the archive, you can search for sender, recipient and subject. Pretty easy to find a certain mail.
