Is there a device that can tie into SIP or Operator to act as a manager or switchboard? I know we can use Calls in the admin, but what about for people that we don't want access to the admin?

Operator 1.2 will support phones with Busy Lamp Field function. So you will be able to use a BLF phone (possibly with extension modules).

We also plan to add a receptionist application to the MyPhone interface in one of the future versions.

Awesome!

Do you have a list of phones that may be supported with Operator that also have blf?

And the receptionist application is HUGE!

We tested a few Snom models so far, like Snom 820, and Snom 360/370 with the BLF extension module. We also tried Yealink T-28P (sells under the Well brand in some countries).

Any update regarding a receptionist application? This is really my only gripe with Operator. I can't seem to find a good third party piece of software that will do this using AMI without jumping through a million hoops. Loving everything else about it, though!

Thanks,
Rob

A receptionist GUI will be considered for Operator 2.5. This does not mean it will be there 100%, but the chances are good.
