I am not sure if this has been answered on another thread, I looked around but couldn't find anything. I have two domain names and all the users have an account in both of them. In order to have them get their email from one place instead of logging into multiple accounts I created the mailboxes on the secondary domain and have them bounce the email to the main domain's mailbox. The incoming mail has no problem.

My problem is sending from both accounts. In other words, when they log in to their primary email's mailbox through the webmail they can't send email from their secondary account.

I am not not sure if all this makes sense, but what I am asking is, is there a way to set it up so the from can be given the option from both domains?

Thanks for any help, I have looked around for quite some time for an answer...

Settings -> Mail, you can change the default from address there. Problem is, you'll have to change that every time you want to send from a different address, which is a major pain. There is no other options to do what you are looking for in the webmail.

Are there any reasons, why users have two accounts? Probably better is make one domain + domain alias.
In WebMail's Settings define default From: another e-mail address (e.g. with domain alias) - then user can select between primary e-mail and alias e-mail while sending message.

This is an old topic I would like to bring back alive. I have a client that has one primary domain and a number of alias domains. In most recent release of 8.1.2 I am hopeful this issue has been addressed and possibly resolved.

My customer want to sent email from his alias domain on a routine basis from the new webmail client but I can not find a way to allow him to do this.

Does anyone have the solution, or a work around?

With this default domain setting in webmail sending from a domain alias works great. However, is it possible to add multiple domains so you can select multiple domains (3 or more) to send from?

regards, Sal
