Just a quick question, I have a user that would like mail that is sent to an email alias to be forwarded to a different user and keep a copy themselves is this possible without it forwarding all of the mail alias's in there user account?

Or an I missing something?

Thanks

You can't forward an alias to two addresses. You'll have to use a Group or an actual user if the forwarded address is not an actual account.

You can. You can create multiple aliases with the same email address and emails will be delivered to all of them.

Does that domain belong to you? You can't control an alias that belongs to a domain that you don't have control over.

you can create multiple aliases like:
alias@domain.com -> some_local_user<_at_>domain.com
alias@domain.com -> alias<_at_>domain.com
alias@domain.com -> other_user<_at_>other_domain.com

Email will be delivered to all three email addresses.

I believe this is no longer true. It creates a problem for me.

You are correct. I can still add a duplicate alias. I must have had a different issue.

Thanks,
