It seems that automatic user validation on the Kerio Control Software appliance is not possible?

Has anyone encountered the same and have maybe some workaround for this issue?

He means the automatic validation by IE or other browser on a Windows system.
So a user don't have to logon Control. This should be happen automatic.
With this way a company can manage the internet traffic beter and report who is going where.
Without that users really know or must every time logon again.

@higor

Currently NTLM authentication works only on Windows OS.

The Kerio Control Box is a Linux distribution, so there is at this moment no official support for the NTLM authentication mentioned in the knowledge base article.

I was just wondering if someone has encountered the same and had some workaround options?

Or is Kerio working to fix this in a future update for the Kerio Control Box?

I was able to use NTLM authentication with Kerio Control Software Appliance.

As a prerequisite, you have to add the Kerio Control server to Windows domain.

In the Software Appliance / VMware Appliance edition, domain membership can be set right in the firewall's administration:

in the Administration web interface, section Domains and authentication, the Active Directory tab.

the Administration Console, section Users, the Active Directory tab.
