I notice that BLF is coming to Kerio Operator 1.2. I'm running Operator 1.2 beta, but I can't seem to find implementation guides for the SPA 504G.

Anyone have some ideas as to where to turn this on?

Not needed. If it is right your phone works normal BLF. But you must program your phone to use BLF function.
example: Our phone have 12 BLF Keys. We program in the phone the needed function at every key.
When configur BLF it works as BLF Key. So if we have extension 200 on key on it lights green as active.
Red when it is in use.

We do not have the how-to for configuring BLF on a Cisco/Linksys SPA phones ready, but hopefully the attached screenshot will help.

If your Operator IP address is 10.10.1.1 and the extension number you want to watch is 101, the extended function string for the given key would be "fnc=blf+sd+cp;sub=101<_at_>10.10.1.1;nme=John"

Vladimir

Update: 101<_at_>10.10.1.1 should contain the @ sign (the forum thinks it's an e-mail address)

Vladimir,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I have one of the new Cisco-branded SPA504G phones, and the interface is a bit different.

The Line Key Extended Function settings are absent entirely from the Phone tab, but they are present on the Attendant Console tab.

I'm attaching a few screenshots here of the Phone tab in the user interface.

Once I configured Line 4 to be a BLF for my other extension (an iPhone), the light is now green, but it doesn't show when the phone is in use.

Best,

Tom

No sooner than I'd hit send on this, I figured out what it was: subscribed to the wrong extension. Silly goose.

Sorry, but the Screenshots are still useful to others!
