Is there a way that if a LAN user is to access a webpage hosted on the same network to be able to use the domain name instead of the internal IP of the host PC hosting the webserver?

thanks

Why not edit your host file (within WR) so your DNS reply will be correct?

Edit host file like:
192.168.1.1 www.myhomepage.com

..it's as simple as that

make sure that IIS has the correct Host Headers and that it also includes the local address.

Do you get the local IP when you ping the DNSNAME.COM now? If so, then the host file is setup correct and you face another problem that will be step 2.

You simply have to create a rule above NAT and Local Traffice.

Enter a rule with the following data. Kerio Support helped me with that.

Name: Service xyz from Internal Network with External IP/DomainName
Source: LAN
Destination: Firewall
Service: Whatever you want (e.g. HTTP)

Translation:
Source NAT: Translate to IP address of outgoing interface
Dest. NAT: IP of you internal Server

I hope this helps.
