Hello

I've been playing with call forwarding and almost getting what I want. When someone rings my office extension, I want to have operator also ring my mobile phone. This kind of works with call forwarding except that it rings my office phone then rings my mobile after no answer. Is it possible to have it ring both simulateously?

Dave

At this moment the function you want isn't there, but you can make a workaround.
Make a extension to use with your deskphone, don't attached this to your username.
Create a second extension without any deskphone, attached to your username. And forward this directly to your mobile.
To create the illusion that both phones are ring together make a ringgroup with your normal extensionnumber and put the two other extensions in it.

It's a little bit dirty trick, but until this is a real function, it could work.

Hi,

Carlo is right. The extension rings first and after that, the forwarding rules are tried.

You could shorten the extension ringing time, or as another workaround, you could have a softphone on your mobile phone and have the extension ring there. You need to be in a 3G network for that, though.
