I can't get it to connect.

I got it working. There was connectivity issues with our wifi but it worked with 3g. However, the phone says our mail server is asking to activate device administrator which allows among other things, the ability to erase all data on the phone without warning by performing a reset.

Anyone else see this? Anyway to configure Kerio to not require this?

That permission is required for Connect's Remote Wipe feature. It can't be changed.
