Hi all,

Kerio Workspace is a new, powerful, versatile but also quite undefined product. From what I've seen so far the usage of Workspace differs immensely from one server to the other.

So I was thinking, let's do something nice for the Kerio team and share information with them. Show screen shots, write stories stories about how we are using Kerio Workspace.

I'm sure this will help the Kerio development team form an understand of how we're using the product and will help them shape it into something even more awesome!

So feel free, and share your stories!

Workspace for Dungeons & Dragons!

Users: 10
Using since: 31st of August 2011
Accumulated data: 1.4 gigabytes
Type of data: Text, pdf's, images

As a hobby I've been playing the classic fantasy role playing game Dungeons & Dragons for years.

For those who don't know Dungeons & Dragons. D&D is an imaginative, social experience that engages players in a rich fantasy world filled with larger-than-life heroes, deadly monsters, and diverse settings.

As a hobby game, D&D is an ongoing activity to which players might devote hours of their time--much like a weekly poker game--getting together with friends on a regular basis for weeks, months, or even years.

The game is played using a predefined set of rules but and our case all of the stories and adventures that happen are made up by in a joint effort by the players.

My friends and me have been playing this game for literally over a decade and sometimes stumbled over several issues, especially when we couldn't play for a while:
- Customized rules were forgotten
- Lost track of the story lines
- Forgot how our 'characters' should be played

This resulted in that we often had to restart in a fresh 'adventure' as we felt we were being inconsequent. And every time one or all of us promised to write stuff down, keep track of things. But you know how this goes; Dog eats paper, stuff gets thrown away by accident, you knock a cup of soup over your papers or things just get lost.

So when I encountered Kerio Workspace I felt this could be the one thing that would help me and my friends out! And actually it's turned out to be just that!

We're now using it to keep track of currently three 'campaigns', (different story lines), without a problem.
We've gathered over 1.4. gigabytes in text, pdf's and images.
We have a history of stuff we did in the past!

And the best thing is, when we're unsure about something, there's always someone with a laptop, smart phone or PC. We just do a simple search and BOOM! within a couple of seconds we've plowed through 1.4 gigabytes of book, texts and workspaces!

I can tell you that saves you a lot of quality game time!

Well, that's my (our) story about Workspace. Not your typical 'business case', but it works for us and we're happy!

I'll share some screen-shots of how our workspace currently looks.

An overview of our workspaces, sorted by campaign or subject, nice and structured (sort of):

Important figures are displayed so we know how they look. Would love a gallery function for images!:

World maps are also present! Would love a gallery function for images!:

Most if not all official books in PDF form, used to quickly search. PDF > Books:

An in-game calendar, just waiting for the Connect integration!:
