Hello

I'm running a trial of Kerio Connect with a view to rolling it out to our fleet of ships. The intention is to replace our existing mail systems with a KerioConnect server on each ship and have everyone onboard use Webmail.

One of our requirements is that all messages received by or sent from ANY account on the system must be automatically copied to the Captain's mailbox. This is no problem for incoming email. On each account, I've setup forwarding to captain<_at_>domain.com and check "delivery messages to both mailbox and forwarding addresses". However, I'm stumped on how to achieve the same for all email SENT by the other users.

Can anyone suggest a way I might be able to achieve this? This is the only thing I've come across that is going to be a problem for us. Other than this small stumbling block, this looks like it could be the perfect solution for us.

Look for "Archive" setting in the Web Administration. This setting allows to create chronological archive of all messages processed by the server (both sent and received). It can also forward all these messages to certain email addresses. So the captain can access Archive folders to get access to all messages or he can get a copy of every single message to his mailbox.

Hi Pavel

Thanks for the quick response! I've just tested that out and it seems to be doing exactly what we need except that the master also gets a copy of emails that he sends as well. I don't suppose there is a way to exclude a particular account from the archive settings is there? I suppose we could always just set a rule on his mailbox so that any emails the captain receives that are from himself are moved to deleted items, unless you have a "cleaner" suggestion?

I would suggest setting up a separate account for the archive email and then sharing that account's inbox with the "Captain". While this would not prevent duplicates necessarily, it would provide a cleaner view of what is specifically emailed to him and what was emailed to everyone else.

Sharing of existing Archive folders to the "Captain" does the same and does not consume a user license.
