Hi,

Trying Kerio Connect out to see if we are to use it so setting it up in a test network with a 2003 R2 SP2 DC. The user who I am logged in with is a domain admin and schema admin but the Kerio Connect Active Directory Extension will not install, fails when its trying to extend the schema.
There are no errors in the eventlog other then that the installation fails.

Anyone got any ideas on what might be wrong?
Server already got the XML parser (or the successor of it) and meet all the other requirements.

Are you installing the AD extension on the Kerio server or the AD server itself? They have to be installed on the AD server.

I am installing it on the AD server itself.
Tried cloning another production DC last night, same result. Even though I am logged in as the domain admin, with scheme admin rights as well, it fails and rolls back. The fail occurs, according to the installation progress information, during the scheme extension.

Does it matter that I am running a swedish version of windows 2003 on these? In my mind, it shouldn't...

Got it installed now, and in case someone else run into the same problem heres why it didn't work.

If you got two or more DC's then both have to be on line and in sync in order for you to be able to install the Kerio Connect Active Directory Extension. It does not matter that the DC your installing on is the schema owner, it will fail unless all DC's are on line.
