I'm trying to configure to send all new and legacy messages off to a 3rd party email archiving tool. I used the Archive to the remote email user: archiver<_at_>ip-address which seems to work for new mail, but doesn't seem to be picking up all of the older messages.

Is this the best way to configure this or is there a better way to get all new and old messages forwarded.

Thanks

Archiving function forwards only new messages. Old messages have to be exported manually, e.g. with some IMAP client, by the administrator with access to existing Archive folders.

That makes sense. If I want to have a copy of all the messages on my Kerio system brought over as a copy to a third party archiving tool, would I enable mail archiving and write to a directory is is it faster to run a full back up? In both cases what is the format that the messages will be in the new directory folder?

I'm curious as to what 3rd party archiving system you are using. I've been looking for something for some time now and have yet to find a great solution.
