Hi!

I'm testing the program.

How can I do, the second incoming caller hear line busy signal?
I don't want send a second ring, when a user is in active call!

Limit line to 1 not enough.

Hi,

Do you want to report that limiting the number of concurrent calls for the external interface does not work for you? Or would you like to have a similar limit for extensions?

Hi!

I think, both of them.
But it's enough, when I can limit the extensions to only one incoming call.

We currently leave the number of concurrent calls per extension on the phones. The phones usually indicate the next call in a reasonable way (visual indication only). But I understand a server-side limit per extension can be useful, so it will be considered for a future version of Operator. Any opinions about what number of calls should be the default limit?

We would like to use Kayako Desktop's (v4.1) integrated soft phone.
In this software not possible limit the concurrent lines.
...and in Alcatel OXO v8.1 not possible too!

It's very disturbing an incoming ring, when we are during a call.
1 extension -> 1 active/incoming call only

When will come the "future version"? Confused

Hi,

The change has not been analyzed yet, so I am not able to give the actual version that will include this.

Is the limit of 1 concurrent call the default that would work best for everybody?

When we implement the limit of concurrent calls for extensions, what should be the default limit? Just 1 call?

Thanks,
Vladimir

@Vladimir,
I think it is good to choose as default 1. But the most of the phone having two incoming lines.
I can imagine that this a problem for softphones.
