I want to use Kerio Control as a firewall for my company
my question is : do i have to implement it on the same server my Active Direcroy is on?
Or can i implement it on a 'old' machine with nothing on it?

Thanks in advance Rolling Eyes

Miguel, we recommend you to install Kerio Control on a different machine. You can try to use Software Appliance based on Linux.

Hello Higor
I have a question about KerioControl Appliance Version based on Linux.

I have Installed KerioControl standard version and testing it, to say the truth I've tested many things and options... It is really good, does it's best successfully.. I can block everything (every internet content, filter sites, create white and black lists, Access lists, inspecting protocols, vpn connection and much more). Everything is OK.
I also tested my firewall state from outside of the network and it is highly protected....
But I couldn't manage of Blocking Skype (I also created a thread about it, please read it)
Now My question is: If I install that Linux based kerio what it will give me? what is the main difference, what does Linux based that couldn't standard version...
While I'm testing your software I just need to know everything (If Linux based is more powerful, stable, more secure) Then I'll Install that.....

Regarding Skype blocking - no easy way so far.

Kerio Control SW Appliance running on Linux can you provide a very effective software appliance with same features and with no additional charges regarding Windows OS licensing.
