I have Lion and 2 mail accounts on 2 different Connect servers.

I set up my main account on server #1 using the Integration utility and it's been working great for months.

This morning I set up account #2 on server #2 using the Integration utility and now I have two accounts in Mail for account #2.

The installation process CHANGED account #1 into account #2, so account #2 appears twice in Mail.

I went in and edited manually account #1 back to the proper account #1's settings, and those settings last until I quit Mail and start it again, when it changes back. However, even changing the settings for Account #1 to the proper settings, it still shows all of the mail from Account #2 - twice.

Is this a bug in Lion or a Connect bug? Can anyone duplicate this problem?

Apple Mail cannot work with two Exchange IMAP accounts. If you want to use two accounts from Kerio Connect (and not use a way of folder sharing) then the second account must be plain IMAP (not Exchange IMAP). Auto-configuration tool creates only Exchange IMAP-type of account and therefore overwrites first one when started for a second time. Second account has to be created manually. BTW: plain IMAP account requires to be configured to use correct IMAP folders for Sent and Deleted Items.

Thanks. That's how I worked around the problem.

Also....vaguely on the same topic, but a very different problem altogether...

I have had a few cases where upgrading a Mac 10.6.8 client to 10.7 Lion
creates a duplicate of the Kerio Exchange account in Apple Mail...

Deleting one account does seem to solve it without further issues, but i have come across this issue like 6 times now at different sites..

It would be nice if the Kerio installer identified an exchange account existed and declined the installation rather than make changes to an existing account.

even nicer would be if it added an imap account instead and explained why.

And imagine the automatisation if the installer would then also set the default IMAP folders straight in Apple Mail....
