Hi all,

A client of mine has a problem in so far as her Entourage Inbox has about 20,000 messages in it whereas the Kerio server Inbox has around 2,000.

Is there any way of forcing Entourage to send these unsynced messages back to the server?

Thanks,

Andy

Have you checked users index file on the server? It maybe corrupt, if so all you have to do is rebuild the index on the server.

check link below to check index file using a script in terminal.
go to houseofmac.wordpress.com

But to answer your question,

If Entourage account is setup as IMAP or EXCHANGE,

create a new subfolder in Entourage
move inbox emails to the new folder.
once you have moved the emails, empty inbox cache, let it sync with the server
then move the emails back.

So you believe that Entourage is correct, and Kerio is not?
I would make sure you have a very good backup of those emails before you do anything. Either export the users Entourage mail to an *.rge file, or drag the inbox to a folder on the desktop. Either way, it is going to take a while with 20,000 emails so be patient.
