I think I may have already asked this, but I couldn't find the post.

Is it possible (or will it be possible) to change the port 5060 that Asterisk listens on for SIP?

If this was possible, I could setup virtual machines for Operator and basically host a full PBX for my customers.

Hi,

This is currently not possible but will be considered for future development. Some SIP phones may be hardwired to use 5060, though.

Yes please do consider it!

This would make it possible to run multiple Operators behind same IP.

I understand some phones are hardwired, but that would be up to me to determine. I know the Cisco SPA5 series allow me to change the SIP port and protocol type.

Thanks!
