Emergency Feature Request[ 3 votes ]

Hi,

After installing a large phone system, I was made aware that the previous phone system had a feature that I think would be great for Kerio.

Apparently, on the old system, if someone in the building called 911, the system would alert the main number to the building that someone was calling 911 and it would tell them the extension number of the person that was calling. Is there any way that this functionality could be built into Kerio?

That seems like an awesome feature, allowing people to respond to an emergency somewhere in the building faster than the police/fire or Emergency departments could.

Thanks,
Adam

Great idea, A warning system for the emergency respons team of a company.
Do you want this like a spoken automated message? That call to the ERT and tells the emergency number is dailed by extension. So the ERT can respond to it also?

For us, really any type of alerting system would be great. I'm sure an announcement/ring/notification to a specified extension would be the best.

Thanks,
Adam
