Good Afternoon,

Late last night i upgraded to 7.3.2 build 6388 and now i have this warning in my warning log.

[13/Feb/2012 13:59:18] Cannot write data to connection socket (local=10.30.75.9:443, remote=10.30.75.142:60349)

This "warning" error appears every 5 seconds.

Mac OSX 10.5.8
Kerio Connect 7.3.2 (6388)

Any idea?

Thanks,
Gary

solved.

i had turned off listening on one administrative port (to try to wedge in another webserver). i reset the ports and the error has gone away.

nope.

i spoke too soon.

the message is still there.

[15/Feb/2012 08:30:40] Cannot write data to connection socket (local=10.30.75.9:443, remote=10.30.75.176:49175).

it's every five seconds for a few minutes to a few hours at a time and then it stops for a few hours.

Do you know what clients are running on that client IP address? The error means that the client is not reading any data from server, possibly because of network error.
Is the client connected through cable or wifi?

I'm seeing this error too for the first time. Seems to have started happening after upgrading to 7.3.2.

All of the target IPs seem to be iPhone/iPad users with Activesync connections.

Hello,

I have the same error message in my logs. The IP address points to an iPhone 4S.

Kind regards
René

We're seeing this error too. It appears to be related to the calendar. It came up for the first time after upgrading to 7.32. One user had the error running continuously for quite awhile.

[20/Feb/2012 15:13:59] Cannot write data to connection socket (local=192.168.1.9:443, remote=71.178.14.158:50532).

and another

[21/Feb/2012 12:01:48] Cannot write data to connection socket (local=192.168.1.9:993, remote=207.188.255.130:51414).

looks like I'm wrong about the calendar. It shows two entirely different ports here.

Sign me up on the 'me too' list.

Our LAN, Entourage 2008:
[22/Feb/2012 10:46:55] Cannot write data to connection socket (local=172.16.1.6:443, remote=172.16.15.41:49954).

Comcast connection, unknown client:

No similar errors in Warning.log prior to our upgrade to 7.3.2.

Cheers.

I was seeing lots of these too. They were all being generated by connections from Outlook 2011 clients who were reporting that Outlook was slow to start up and would often hang for several seconds during use. My DNS was pointing to the server's two IP addresses. I removed the second IP address from DNS and so far so good (no errors, no slow startups or hangs in the last day).
