Hi,

Is there a way to create a shared contacts folder and calendar with KMS 6, which will then be available in webmail and outlook/entorage?

Thanks

Sorry, just thought you were asking if it had the capabilities.....

In webmail one user can share their calendar by right clicking on the calendar folder and select sharing. Add the user you want to share it with and what kind of privaledges you want to give them.

The user who wants to access it can right click on "shared folders" in their folder list in webmail and select shared folders. Here, they will type in the username of the person sharing their folder......

There you go.......

Ok thanks for that - I've got it working in webmail but not in Outlook..... it just shows the email address of the sharer but not the contacts and calendar folders - I've set all users to 'reader' as I would need read only access to these folders.

Any ideas would be great

Cheers

I've managed to get it working now - it won't display these folders in the 'Mail' section of Outlook 2003, but you can select them after a restart in the calendar and contacts section.

Cheers

How are you accessing the mail in outlook, IMAP or POP3? I ordered a new computer for KMS v6. We currently use Outlook 2000 with POP3 but I am wondering if that is going to work for sharing calendars and stuff.
