I thought this was accomplished by modifying local.cf and doing something like

score HTML_FONT_FACE_BAD #Desired score#

I figured it worked the same for other built in rules as well but it does not seem to be working. Am I missing something?

forgot to mention I am using Kerio Connect version 7.3.2 build 6388 and using Spamassassin, which is where I am trying to modify the local.cf file

It should work, although it would ease upgrades if you put the custom scores in another file, e.g. mycustomscores.cf. SpamAssassin will parse all files ending in .cf when starting. You will also have to restart the Kerio Connect service/daemon after changing any SpamAssassin files. You unfortunately can't hup SpamAssassin separately.

Not sure if I misunderstood, but don't put hash signs around the score.
