I am using v.5.7.7 and having a bit of trouble making the spam filter custom rule work. I have created rules that should allow emails from external email addresses without it being scanned for Spam. Most of the times it works, but some of the times that it doesn't makes me wonder how many are being rejected by the spam filter.

Here is the setup:

Header: From
Type: Contains Substring (I was told to use this by the Kerio Techsupport team)

Content: user<at>domain.com
Then: Treat the message as non-Spam

Any feedback would be appreciated.

For all 'trusted' external sources, I use a rule

If Message: From
Type: contains address with domain
Content: <domain.com>
Then: Treat the message as Non-spam

For specific users, I use

If Message: From
Type: contains address
Content: <user<at>domain.com>
Then: Treat the message as Non-spam

Note that these should be at the top of your custom rule sets - if you have a blocking rule before the rules above, then that will take precedence over the above 'allow' rules.
