That looks like a private (non-business) ISP account to me. If the ISP blocks port 25, he doesn't want you to send out mail directly.

But he should give you the name of a relay host where you can send mail to. Please check back with your ISP how mail should be sent.

Then your ISP account is not suitable for a mail server. You should subscribe for a business account that allows mail servers and have a fixed IP address and all ports are open.

Your ISP also have no good reason to block port 587. Mail servers listening on port 587 should ONLY accept authenticated (SMTP AUTH) connections to it. Port 587 was standardized in RFC2476 exactly because of widespread blocking of port 25. If they think they HAVE to block port 587, they're doing something wrong or are simply incompetent.

My host is from easycgi(USA).My office is at Asian.I would like to connect email(Host from USA) via Kerio Mailserver in my Asian office.
I can't use DNS MX Record because my ISP block SMTP:25 and 857.When I use relay server, all outgoing message are in message queue. It show 4.4.2 No greeting from Remote Host.

My Relay Server setting

Relay Control-> I select Allow relay only for: Users authenticated through SMTP for outgooing mail.Others setting are blank.

SMTP Delivery->Relay server hostname: mail.myserver.com
Relay server port:465
Authentication: POP3 before SMTP
SMTP client options-> I select Use SSL/TLS if supported by remote SMTP server.

This seems to be wrong, the standard port for SMTPS (Secure SMTP) is

465

Quote:
ISP block SMTP:25 and 857

Shouldn't this be

587

which is the SMTP submission port.

I'm sorry. I wrong type port number here.
I really mean SMTP:465. May I know others people can use Relay Server with SMTP:465(SSL)?

I also test googlemail smtp server via kerio relay server with smtp:465(SSL).Same problem(4.4.2 No greeting from Remote Host).

Did you try the other Authentication option (SMTP AUTH)? Did you try without SSL?

Yes,I already tried (SMTP AUTH) and (without SSL). Same problem (4.4.2 No greeting from remote host).

I also tried removing "Relay server require authentication"
It show (4.4.2 No greeting from remote host).

If I change relay server port: 587 from 465 , it show " cannot connect to remote host ". Because my ISP block 587port.

Kerio Connect can use SMTP relay, which listens on SMTP (and optionally supports STARTTLS). It cannot relay through SMTPS (secured SMTP) relay servers.

You need to ask your ISP to do not block outgoing SMTP or find a SMTP relay server, which you can use and is not listening on ports blocked by your ISP.
