I need to sync contacts from my web application with KerioConnect.
I'm assuming this can be done using CardDav.

Now i have been looking up libraries for CardDav and found that the data is transferred in an XML format with a Request and Response methodology.ie. I send an XML request and I recieve an XML Response.

What I would like to know is how I can connect to Kerio Connect using CardDav? Would I need to send some kind parameters to some URL? I'm not sure.

Also another query popped up in my mind was, how does Kerio Connect save the contact information. Users would normally have an Email Client which would interact with Kerio. How would those contacts be saved on the server for my Web application to retrieve?

If you need more information about CardDAV standard, you can start here: http://carddav.calconnect.org/

Hi Pavel,

Thanks for your response. I have already checked the standards for CardDav. They have many libraries which i have already downloaded to see, how I can connect to a server. But those are pretty specialised, and i would need to know how to do it for Kerio.

Is there some specific XML tags that I'm supposed to embed or such, also what type of authentication would be required from my part. Havent been able to find too much on that.

Hi,

I'm looking for a URL to which I can send my XML Request, to Receive an XML Response from Kerio Connect, which is supposed to be a CardDav Server. I have not been able to find any documentation on this on the Kerio site, however the CardDav site mentioned above mentioned that I should be able to send and receive information from the CardDaav Server in a XML Format.

Till now I have, the XML code for sending a Request, but I am unaware about the location to which the Request is to be sent. If you could please provide me with a URL to which I could send my request to, that would be helpful!
