i have a remote user that would like to create a permanent VPN connection to my control appliance using a dd-wrt mega enabled router.

attached is a screenshot of the two clients the router supports.

i was wondering if either would be compatible with my control appliance, and if not, is there another way to have a permanent vpn tunnel from a remote site... other than putting an additional connect appliance there.

thank you in advance.

It looks like the dd-wrt supports PPTP server. If so, you could try to create a PPTP connection from Control to that device. It is a bit backwards from what you might like, but it looks like it should work.

Another option would be if you had a PPTP server (Windows server, etc.) inside the Control device, you could build a PPTP connection from the dd-wrt to the internal server.

100% it is possible, I've tested that and working perfectly...
at home I have WRT-54G-TM Router with DD-WRT Mega firmware, no problems, no errors.....

Create VPN Server on Windows and then grant access from Kerio through policy (I've described it here: http://forums.kerio.com/mv/msg/19254/0/15/)
