Hello,

i am new here and have few questions.

1. is it possible to auth against a samba4 DC (ADS)?
2. what about import kerio ldap schema in samba4 structure?
3. if it is not possible yet, is it on kerio's roadmap for "Kerio Connect"?

Greetings

" Samba 4 alpha18 Samba4 development is moving very rapidly, but there is still much work to be done. A date has not been set for an official release,... Samba 4 is currently not yet in a state where it can replace existing production deployments."

We cannot plan a support for third-party software in alpha phase (alpha 18). Nobody knows when (or if) it will be released, what features will be implemented etc.

Hello and thanks for your prompt answer.

the point is that auth against samba 4 will be in the future perhaps one of most wanted customers features.
Samba developers want to show the first beta on this year's sambaxp convention in may.

there are already solutions (www.univention.de - UCS 3.0, www.resara.org) with integrated samba4 (Active directory services) for productive environment.
it would be really great to make a connector for UCS 3.0. Your business competitors (ox6, zarafa, horde) have already made it.

Greetings from Germany
