Hi forum,

I'm trying to share company contacts to the whole company.

Some users may change or add contacts, but others should have read only access.

I thought that I could do that by logging in on kerio connect admin, then by editing the user and uncheck Folder administration in the "rights" tab.

Unfortunaly, when I add the accounts in the Address book on Mac OS X, all users see all shared contacts but they can all modify them as well.

Im I getting something wrong?

Thanks for the info,

I found this in the manual:

25.1.3 Assigningrightsforpublicfolders
Rights for public folders can be assigned by any user with Kerio Connect administration rights:
1. In the administration interface, open the Accounts → Users section.
2. Use the cursor to select the user to assign rights to and open the settings dialog (e.g. by the Edit button).
3. In the dialog, go to the Rights tab and enable option This user has the administrator rights to the public folders.

I'm I right to understand that this function should allow or prevent users to add/delete contacts in these folders? Such as contacts in address book?
