The boss of the company has given Editor rights to his assitant. His assistant entire events for him into his calendar using Outlook for Windows with KOC. When the event is written, the organizer is set to be the assistant, now the boss using iCal cannot edit the event, since he is not the organizer. This is also true if the assistant uses WebMail to create the event in the bosses calendar.

Now, after some testing, if the assistant uses iCal or Outlook for Mac, the events are created properly. With iCal, no Organizer is set and thus the boss can edit the event. With Outlook for Mac, the organizer is set to the boss, and again he is able to edit the event using his iCal.

The word we received from support, was this is how it is supposed to be. I have to disagree, if the event is for the boss, even though it was created by the assistant, he should be able to edit his events.

Kerio, I think you got this one wrong and need to fix this so that events created by a delegate can be edited by the owner of the calendar where the event resides.
