When first describing our file collaboration product Kerio Workspace to people, I sometimes hear, "You mean it's like Dropbox?" I then have to explain the myriad of things that Workspace does in addition to sharing files.
Not that Dropbox does this poorly. It shares content well, now, perhaps too well. With its new link based file sharing feature, the site may get into legal hot water because "customers" are sharing copyrighted files (vidoes, music, etc). If this sounds familiar, it may be because Megaupload was shut down earlier this year for the same thing.

Fines and court hearings are one thing, and I'm sure Dropbox has the stomach and pockets to fight them. But, getting completely shut down? That is a business user's nightmare. Imagine a small business storing their mission-critical content on the service, and then poof - it's all unaccesable. That's a setback to say the least.

Kerio Workspace is designed for businesses to share their files and content securely WITHIN the organization. In fact, the product has been popular with government organizations for that very reason. If your business has business-oriented files on Dropbox, it may be time to check out alternatives.
