Hi,

we've got Kerio Connect 7.4.0 build 7098 on Windows XP x86.
And also we've got an NAS to store our backups (daily on 19:00).

Kerio-Log sais:
[22/May/2012 19:00:06] BACKUP: Authentication to \\server-nas\User\Administrator\Email-Server\ as server-nas\Administrator failed with error (53) Der Netzwerkpfad wurde nicht gefunden.

But a few minutes later I'm getting an email, that everythings ok:

Dies ist eine Information gesendet von Kerio Connect 7.4.0 auf server.

Backup in Datei \\server-nas\User\Administrator\Email-Server\I20120522T170002Z.zip
gestartet am Tue, 22 May 2012 19:00:02 +0200 wurde erfolgreich am Tue, 22 May 2012 19:09:31 +0200 beendet.

Sie können das Backup-Medium nun wechseln.

What's going wrong?

Best regards,
Dennis

Does the backup exist on your NAS? Is it the email telling you it has completed or the network path not found message that is wrong?

The backups does exist on my NAS.

I've now pushed my backup manually and my log sais again:
[24/May/2012 10:53:01] BACKUP: Authentication to \\server-nas\User\Administrator\Email-Server\ as server-nas\Administrator failed with error (53) Der Netzwerkpfad wurde nicht gefunden.

which means, that my path to NAS has not been found.
Where as my email then tells me, that everything worked fine:

Dies ist eine Information gesendet von Kerio Connect 7.4.0 auf server.

Backup in Datei \\server-nas\User\Administrator\Email-Server\C20120524T085258Z.zip
gestartet am Thu, 24 May 2012 10:52:58 +0200 wurde erfolgreich am Thu, 24 May 2012 13:32:02 +0200 beendet.

Sie können das Backup-Medium nun wechseln.

And also my backupfiles are stored on my NAS as it should be.

My backups are ok, my reporting-email is ok, this message in my warning-log is wrong.

We're using KC 7.3.2 and if I change my backup path to a UNC on a remote machine and try the backup I don't see an error and the backup completes OK.

If you backups are working I guess you may need to report the (probably wrong) "path not found error" to Kerio.

As Kerio now charge for support and don't appear to have any bug reporting yet in place I probably wouldn't bother and just hope that someone from Kerio picks up on this thread!

You are lucky - I cannot get a unc path to work at all!

HELLO KERIO - THERE SEEMS TO BE A SERIOUS BUG - HELLO
Maybe this is on purpose to make some money with the new support rules!
