Upgraded to 1.2.2 and now auto-provisioning isn't working. I have reinstalled the software completely and still nothing. I have reset the phones, still nothing.

What is going on here?

Which version did you upgrade from? First of all, check if that the phones are not blocked under Advanced > Security (Could happen if the phones tried to log in with the old credentials but you meanwhile recreated the extensions and did not restart the phones.)

Then check the logs, and enable the provisioning messages in the debug log. If it does not help, send us your support information file from the system health screen and a packet dump showing the communication after you restart a phone.

I upgraded from 1.2.1. They provisioned correctly the first time, but they now don't do anything when I restart them. When they restart the phone displays "provisioning in progress" but it just goes to the login screen.

It seems the phones aren't being given identities properly so I have to login manually or edit the phone's web access page manually to get anything to work.

Support info file is attached.

Okay, I downgraded the server 1.2.0 (only image I had) and also the phone firmware to 8.4.35 and still the same crap is happening. What can I do? How do I provide the packet dump?

I can manually provision these, but this is the hugest pain in the ass ever.

Just to add: I have tried every version of Operator now including 2.0.0 beta 2. I have done fresh installs of the OS and reset the values in the phone.

I have tried multiple snom phones (we have 7) and they are all doing this.

UPDATE: I have figured it out. It appears to be the 8.7.3.7 Firmware. I downgraded to 8.4.35 and reset the values with a fresh install of 2.0.0 Beta. Everything is back to as it should be.

Any reason why that new firmware is breaking stuff?

Hi,

Snom stop support of TFTP by default in 8.7.3.7 Firmware.

Simple workaround is described in http://forums.kerio.com/t/21796/manually-register-snom-870/

Operator will support 8.7.3.7 Firmware in version 2.0.0 RC1
