Hi,

as there is no possibility to delete old calendar events automatically within kerio, I want to write a little batch job doing this.

the idea is:

1) go through all *.eml files in the specific calendar subfolder (#msgs folder)

2) filter out expired events and move them to an archive calender folder. you have to take care that unique *.eml file name is used when moving to the archive folder

3) move index.fld to index.fld.bad

4) restart kerio connect server to to rebuild index.fld and to make changes in calendar folder visible to the clients

So my question is: is there a way to do step 3) and 4) in a better way? best would be to not stop kerio, instead call some kerio functions to rebuild the new calendar folder.

Or best would be if there was a kerio api function to delete old calendar events...

best regards
