The Scenario:
We've got a Kerio Connect server that is setup with about 400 email boxes at location A. We have been moving everything to a new location, B, and want to setup a Kerio Mail Server at B to handle all outbound emails from our servers there.

We have tested it a bit and it will send emails out unless those emails are destined for another box from the same domain. If that happens it then looks in it's own email box list and keeps the message if it finds a match and discards it otherwise.

The Question:
Is there a way to do what we want? Should we just have the B mail server use a different domain?

Thanks in advance!

Have you considered using the Kerio Connect "Ditributed Domain" feature? From the help page:

Quote:
Distributed domain

Distributed domain allows you to interconnect all your Kerio Connect servers. Thus all users on all the servers can be put into one mailing domain (such as company.com). Upon logon, any user can schedule meetings with other users and book resources across all connected servers.

For detailed information on distributed domain, refer to the manual.

See details here:

freakinvibe,

I had not seen that option and while I think it would work great we don't have a key component:

Quote:
The only prerequisite for the correct function of the distributed domain is user mapping from a directory service.

Do you, or anyone else, know of any other options?

Thanks,

Then you can use "Domain Forwarding". It can be found under the "Forwarding" tab when you edit a Domain.
