I've been running the Kerio Mail on a dedicated 32-bit XP machine that is a member of our domain. Subsequent to my original install years ago I do not believe I have updated the Kerio Active directory extension everything worked fine without it. I'm currently on v7.3.2.

I downloaded v7.4.1 and tried to install...usually a yawn..

I got this message:

"Error 28104: This computer is not a schema master server for this domain. Only Active Directory UI extension can be installed."

When I continue on I get a second error message:

"Active directory extension of Kerio Connect requires windows server or client with server admin tools installed."

Due to a VPN Tunneling project I had to change the ip address scheme in our office recently. I doubt this is related but I will throw that factoid out there.

Ideas and/or suggestions anyone?

Thank you all in advance.

You must run Kerio Active Directory Extension installer on your Active Directory domain controller, not on domain member.
