I keep getting Out of free Nat ports unable to handle connection when an smtp session starts that uses Nat.
I have read all the other posts and ones says to increase the maximum nat ports in the config file.
I have found the config file winroute.cfg but can not find where this option is and what to set.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I had this problem last month.. called up Kerio and they are charging me a fee.. so I do my own research and fixed it myself (just like what I used to do). Also this Out of NAT is not Kerio Application bug, it's just telling you that NAT port's limit has been reached.

Question: Aside from Kerio Control, what are other services / application that is running..

I would suggest to install Kerio Control exclusively in one machine.. if you want to add another application, do it one by one to see which app is eating all the NAT ports. In my case, application like Kaspersky Security Center (KSC) triggers this Out of Free NAT ports.
