Hi,

Hi we've been using KC email for a couple years. We just implemented calendar sharing and it's going well.

We use Apple's iCal to manage calendars. Our KC user accounts are pulled from Open Directory.

But there is a problem with a certain user.

We have a group called allemployees@company.com.[/email] All employees are members of that group, and each employee has delegated allemployees<_at_>company.com to be able to view their calendars.

Works great.. everyone can read everyone else's calendar.

Except... 1 user cannot view any other user's calendars as a member of allemployees<_at_>company .com , even though he is a member of that group. Everyone else can see his calendars.

If this user is added individually as a delegate to a users calendar he can see that users calendar. But he cannot see it as a member of allemployees<_at_>company .com , even though he is a member of that group.

This is happening with only 1 user out of 30. We have tested his account on a couple different client computers and have the same problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

ft.

So, I am still having this problem with 1 user.

He cannot see the calendars of other users, despite being in the ALL group.

The other users are also in the ALL group and can see all calendars including his. All users come from Open Directory.

This seems to be a permissions issue of some kind.

I found the following in another thread...

Quote:
try stopping the server, navigating to the mailstore directory (by default it's located at /usr/local/kerio/mailserver/store/mail), deleting the .caldav.db, and then restarting the server. This will rebuild the delegate information so it may take a little bit of time.

Can anyone confirm if deleting the .cardav.db file may help my situation. If so I'll give it a go.

Thanks,

ft.

Sorry to bump this but what is the best way to reset a particular user's calendars and start from scratch?

Thanks,

ft.
