Hi All

We have a client that is saying some of there emails to our domain are / have been bouncing lately.
Im 95% sure that the issue is on there end but I would like to check to be 100%

Currently we are Delaying SMTP greeting by 25 seconds would this be too much & can I see the mails being bounced in a logfile somewhere?

Thanks in advance

Looks like it could have been an issue with that length of time of the SMTP greeting & the blacklists
Found a great topic on Delaying SMTP here http://forums.kerio.com/mv/msg/17122/#msg_68961
event though Kerio suggest 25 here: http://manuals.kerio.com/kms/en/sect-spamexample.html
I think Ill turn it down to 15 & see what happens.

We have set the delay to 19 seconds and it is working very well for us.

Also it would be good if you could get the exact bouncing error message from your clients. It could be a lot of reasons, so the exact bounce message is essential.
